Sacramento - Speaker Robert Rivas has proudly elevated Assemblymember Dr. Corey A. Jackson as the Chair of the Budget Subcommittee No. 2 on Human Services, a historic milestone that distinguishes Assemblymember Dr. Jackson as the first chairman of the newly established committee.
In accepting this position, Dr. Jackson underscores his firm belief that the California Budget is a reflection of the values inherent to our state. With a profound commitment to utilizing the budgetary process, he aims to address critical issues affecting California, using this influential tool to navigate towards equitable solutions.
