We’re excited to invite you to our 2025 Community BBQ and Backpack Giveaway! Join us for a vibrant day full of food, music, games, and family fun.
Event Highlights:
- Free tacos and salsa: For the first 100 guests
- Free food: The first 500 attendees will receive free food.
- Backpack giveaway: 1,000 free backpacks for children (child must be present)
- Live music: Enjoy music throughout the day
- Free games and activities: Including carnival games and entertainment for all ages
- Taco and salsa contest: Cast your vote for the best in Assembly District 60
Volunteer Opportunities:
We’re looking for community members to help make this event a success. Volunteer roles include:

- Backpack Distribution
- Carnival Game Facilitation
- Artists To Decorate Backpacks
