Assemblymember Dr. Corey A. Jackson introduces the District Bill Package, a collection of legislative proposals shaped by the diverse voices of the constituency.

AB 1801 - Supportive Housing Development: Facilitating supportive housing growth, this bill permits administrative office space within developments, fostering community support. Notably, it expands the definition of supportive housing and streamlines the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) process.

AB 1838 - San Jacinto Wildlife Area Preservation: Addressing environmental concerns, this legislation safeguards the San Jacinto Wildlife Area, emphasizing conservation efforts and community involvement. It mandates periodic management updates, encourages partnerships, and requires public hearings for any proposed changes.

AB 1857 - Air Quality Improvement in Valleys (Inland Empire): Aiming for cleaner air, this bill directs the California Air Resources Board to enact regulations for improved air quality in valley communities. Local air districts will implement these regulations, contributing to a healthier environment.

AB 2029 - Public Access to EV Charging Stations: Enhancing accessibility, this bill mandates a study on the availability of EV charging stations for individuals with access or functional needs. A comprehensive report will be submitted to the Legislature by January 1, 2025.

AB 2448 - Electric Vehicle Economic Opportunity Zone (EVEOZ): In a pioneering move, this bill establishes California’s first Electric Vehicle Economic Opportunity Zone (EVEOZ) in Riverside County.
