(Jurupa Valley, CA) – A new park and playground, lighting for sports fields, a new splash pad and a new community center are just some of the Jurupa Valley parks projects made possible by state funding secured by Assemblymember Sabrina Cervantes (D - Corona). “We want to make sure we have equal access to parks and that also remains true to making sure that we keep in mind the underserved communities that we represent through the state,” Cervantes said, “and Jurupa Valley is known to be a parks-poor community, which is why this funding is historic on its own.” Learn more about the community projects in this Assembly Access video.
