(SACRAMENTO) – Today, the Assembly unanimously approved Assembly Bill 710, “The Housing Cost of Attendance Act,” by Assemblymember Sabrina Cervantes (D-Corona). AB 710 would address student homelessness and college affordability by ensuring housing costs provided to students are calculated in a fair, consistent, and accurate way every year.

(SACRAMENTO) – Today, the Assembly unanimously approved Assembly Bill 1000 by Assemblymember Sabrina Cervantes (D-Corona). This bill would require higher education institutions to review and update written procedures and protocols related to sexual assault and harassment each academic year in collaboration with sexual assault counselors and representatives of students, faculty, and staff.

(Riverside, CA) — Home Front at Camp Anza, the   affordable veterans housing development, was the setting as   Assemblymember  Sabrina Cervantes (D-Corona) marked her election to a   second term in the  State Assembly with a community swearing in   celebration. The Honorable  Sunshine Sykes, a Riverside County Superior   Court judge, administered  the oath of office. "Always be your  authentic  self," Assemblymember  Cervantes said to the large contingent  of young  girls who were on hand  for the occasion.
