Higher education means greater opportunity—the knowledge and skills you gain through education, as well as career and technical training, can be used for the rest of your life. Finding ways to pay for college can be intimidating, but the state of California is here to help.

My office, along with Senator Richard Roth and Inland Empire Economic Partnership will be hosting a Cash for College Workshop where parents and students can receive assistance with filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the CA Dream Act Application. Completing the FAFSA allows qualified students to be considered for the greatest amount of financial aid from federal, state and college sources — and it’s free to fill out. I encourage you to join us!

Thursday, February 27
6 – 8 p.m.

CNUSD Parent Center
152 E. Sixth St., Corona
