COVID-19 Information for Seniors and Medically Sensitive Groups
If you are over 60, are immune suppressed or have pre-existing medical conditions including respiratory diseases, it is advised to practice social distancing such as staying away from large public areas and events.

CalFresh
CalFresh is the program formally known as Food Stamps and federally known as SNAP. This program issues electronic benefits to purchase food to California residents who meet the eligibility requirements.

Meals on Wheels Riverside continues to keep its wheels in motion during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Volunteers are continuing the coordination of getting hot, nutritious meals to the hundreds of clients – and precautionary steps have been taken to ensure safety of the volunteers and the clients.

Feeding America Riverside San Bernardino (FARSB)

Special Hours for Grocery Stores
Many grocery stores and chains have announced they will be holding special shopping hours only for seniors and medically sensitive individuals. Individual stand-alone stores may also be offering special hours. These special hours vary greatly by store and location. We advise you call your individual store to check on whether it is holding special hours when planning your trip to buy groceries.

California has launched a statewide hotline, in coordination with the non-profit local 2-1-1 systems, so that Californians have a one-stop shop to answer their questions and get assistance during this crisis.
