COVID-19 Information for Schools and Institutions of Higher Education
All school districts within Riverside County will be closed effective Monday, March 16 through Thursday, April 30. For the most current information about school closures:
The health and safety of our students, teachers, and staff are most important. Governor Newsom signed an executive order ensuring state funding for schools even in event of physical closure. The order directs school districts to use those state dollars to fund distance learning and high quality educational opportunities, provide school meals and, as practicable, arrange for the supervision for students during school hours. Because this is a very rapidly changing situation, I recommend checking directly with your school for available resources and updates.
